Professor Richard Marks of the School of Data Science and Society presented at 79°West this week. Prof Marks is one of the original engineers in the commercialization of computer vision products. In case you missed it, here is a link to his slides.
One of the links mentioned is supertools.therundown.ai, which allows users to search through the hundreds of AI tools available.
Marks demonstrated Krea.ai. Try real-time image manipulation to get a feel for what is possible.
If you want to see just how fast AI image generation can be, try FastFluxAI.
I learned a new prompt I learned today at CCCC that you can use in ChatGPT. It shows how you can have the GPT work with you to gather more information before you tell it to complete the task.
“I need to create a table of ideas to help entrepreneurs. My table will have 3 columns. The first column is the title for the idea. The second column is a full explanation of the idea. The third column will be at least one link to a resource url. Provide ideas and let me guide you before you create an excel spreadsheet.”
When the table is complete, just say, ‘Thanks, make me a spreadsheet,’ and it will make a completed Excel spreadsheet.
Have Fun!
